Flute Weekend - Paul Edmund-Davies

17th - 18th October 2009, Winchester Cathedral

On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October 2009 Paul Edmund-Davies will be coming to run a series of workshops and repertoire sessions, drawing on his experience of film and orchestral music whilst working as principal of the LSO and Philharmonia. For Grades 3 - 5 on the Saturday we will be playing from film scores such as Titanic, Honey I Shrunk the Kids and Star Wars, whilst on the Sunday (grade 6+) we will be performing brand new flute choir works by Andy Scott. There will also be sessions on how to get the best out of your practise, finger boot camp and how to practise studies, as well as a few individual masterclass sessions (as always these are limited so please contact me first).

Just Flutes will be down for the weekend with a fantastic range of flutes, sheet music, CDs and accessories - if there is anything in particular you'd like to look at give them a ring or let me know and they will bring it with them.

Tickets are £20 per day and are available now from Winchester Cathedral Box Office, www.winchester-cathedral.org.uk or 01962 857275.
